Mr. Hanley is the Senior Credit Officer and Co-Division Manager for Silicon Valley Bank's Wine and Community Development Finance Divisions, a 30-person team dedicated to the wine industry. His primary responsibilities include credit approval, management of the Division’s loan portfolio & coaching of the Bank's relationship managers in loan underwriting and portfolio management. Keith manages the approval of all winery and vineyard related credits. Keith’s background represents 10 years of retail & commercial banking experience spanning the operational & lending areas of banking. His prior experience includes general and loan operations management through several departments at North Coast Bank in Santa Rosa. Keith joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2000 several years after graduating from Sonoma State University. He worked through the lending ranks, beginning as a Credit Analyst and has been the Senior Credit Officer for the past four years. Keith was successful in doubling the size of his Sonoma County wine portfolio in 12 months as a Senior Relationship Manager prior to accepting the Credit Officer position, from which time the Wine Division has posted double digit growth over the past four years.
Keith is a native of Sonoma County, received his BS in Business Administration at Sonoma State University with a finance concentration and currently resides in Santa Rosa. He is a regular speaker and panel representative at wine industry conferences. Thru Silicon Valley Bank he is a member of numerous wine industry trade organizations, including the Santa Barbara County Vintners Association, Paso Robles Vintners and Growers Association, Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association, in addition to similar organizations in Napa and Sonoma Counties; and the Pacific Northwest.
