Wealth Management, Private Banking & Lending,
Northern California
Pablo Serna is a Private Wealth Advisor for the SVB Private Bank and Wealth Advisory Team. Based in Menlo Park, he serves wine-industry clients in Napa and Sonoma counties as well as entrepreneur professionals in the Bay Area. Such clients lead dynamic professional lives that add complexity to their personal finances, and Pablo thrives on guiding his clients forward with clear, proactive plans for financial planning, investment management, retirement advice and banking and credit support.
Pablo has been helping innovators and business leaders navigate their financial needs for more than 25 years. He joined SVB in 2011 as a senior mortgage lender and later served as director for SVB Private Bank’s mortgage advisory team. In these roles, he helped make home financing decisions smooth and simple for SVB’s entrepreneurial clients. He first began working with high-net-worth clients as a financial advisor for Wells Fargo Investments and later for Bank of America, before joining Borel Private Bank & Trust Company in Palo Alto as a vice president in the residential mortgage services area. Pablo holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a minor in mathematics from San Jose State University. Pablo holds both a Series 66 and Series 7 license.
An avid cyclist, Pablo regularly joins up with the SVB Best Buddies ride team; together, they have cycled Highway 1 from Carmel to San Simeon, raising funds to benefit persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
