
Monica Cooper is a Client Development Officer for the Southern California Commercial Banking Team. Managing a portfolio of commercial clients, her focus is on developing new relationships while building upon existing ones as an advisory partner. Monica has a 25 year career in banking and over 15 years of experience in treasury management. She is a member of the SVB Private Women’s Connection Group and Market Advisory Council.
Prior to this role, Monica was a Treasury Solutions Officer at Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase. In this role she advised clients on cash management and depository services. She served on various committees including LEAD for Women and Co-Chaired the Black Leadership Council for Southern California.
Mrs. Cooper is a Board Member of the Southern California Association of Professionals, Board Member of St. Gregory’s Catholic School, Luminary Member/Mentor of StepUp Women’s Network, Committee Member for Kingi’s Kajukenbo Finance team, Committee Member of the Los Angeles Ventures Association for the Women’s Group, CPG & Fintech groups and Core Team Member for FoodTech LA, an Accelerator program.
Mrs. Cooper is a graduate of California State San Bernardino where she received her B.A. In Business Administration with a Major in Marketing. She earned her Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Redlands with a concentration in Finance. She holds a Certified Treasury Professional designation and is a Board Member of SoCal Association of Financial Professionals.
