
Daniel Koenig is a Wealth Associate for SVB Private in New York. In his role, he supports SVB Private wealth advisors on personal credit, deposit and wealth management solutions for private equity leaders and venture capital investors in the innovation economy. Daniel develops tailored solutions such as stock secured lending, deposit accounts, lines of credit, mortgages and home equity financing, as well as partner loans and capital call lines. He enjoys working with the unique, sophisticated clients of SVB Private, and he is excited to provide wealth development advice to the titans and founders of the innovation economy. Daniel served SVB Private in wealth advisory in the internship program before joining the organization in 2022.
Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and computing and data science with a minor in psychology from the NYU Stern School of Business, where he graduated as valedictorian. He held several internships during his undergraduate years for companies such as Morgan Stanley. The internships provided Daniel with valuable experience about financial planning, governance, liability management, and the investing needs of ultra-high net worth families, their businesses and philanthropic enterprises. He is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society, and he is also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals.
Daniel is an active volunteer for Friendship Circle, which provides assistance and support to 3,000 individuals with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational and vocational programming.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with friends, his family and their mini golden doodle, as well as exploring New York City restaurants, cooking and baking, weightlifting and skiing.
