Rob is a Senior Managing Director, Specialty Commercial. He is responsible for the overall development and growth of the Bank’s Southern California and San Francisco Bay markets. In addition, he leads the Bank’s lending efforts to privately held businesses nationally. Rob is a member of the Bank’s Operating Committee, Management Loan Committee and CRA Management and Investment Committees.
Prior to joining the Bank in 1999, he was a Vice President/Relationship Manager in corporate banking at Bank Boston. Rob began his banking career at BayBank, where he completed his formal credit training.
Prior to his banking career, Rob was an active duty officer in the U.S. Army, where he served in Germany and Southwest Asia. He was awarded the Bronze Star medal during the first Gulf War. He holds a BA in History and Modern Languages from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA from Boston University.
Rob actively volunteers and currently serves as a Director and the President of Santa’s Magic, Inc., a 501c3 public charity.
