Jason Beacham, director of product management at SVB Private, is known for his client-centric approach, Agile solutioning, expertise in driving product innovation and strategic growth. He leads the collaboration of cross-functional teams and guides the development of advanced financial solutions, change management and the achievement of ambitious key objectives.

Jason’s expertise spans high net worth/ultra-high net worth consumer lending, including mortgage lending and custom-tailored lending products. He is focused on managing pricing frameworks, optimizing underwriting guidelines, incubating efficiencies through technology development and enhancing the client experience. For example, he created and manages a proprietary loan pricing tool that all SVB client-facing advisors use today, resulting in more consistent messaging, compliant disclaimers and dynamic custom quote details for even the most complex loan scenarios.

Jason joined SVB Private in 2015 and quickly established a reputation as a trusted advisor within the VC/PE Innovation Economy and originated over $1 billion as a mortgage advisor. In 2019, Jason was recruited into the product management team by SVB’s executive leadership.

Prior to joining SVB, Jason served as a personal finance advisor at Opes Advisors. During his tenure at Opes Advisors, his commitment to holistic advice-based approach led him to become an investment advisor representative, leveraging proprietary wealth planning technology to offer comprehensive financial guidance to high net worth individuals. During that time, Jason also served as the president of the Business Network International Menlo Park chapter, Constant Growth, leading a group of 35 professionals to become the top revenue chapter in the Bay Area.

Prior to his role at Opes, Jason honed his expertise in the mortgage industry. He spent several years as a mortgage advisor at Western Bancorp, building a strong network of realtors, builders and Certified Public Accountants while implementing marketing strategies and business development initiatives. He navigated regulatory compliance during a post-recession overhaul, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Early in his career, Jason also founded several small businesses, raising funds for real estate opportunities and establishing himself as an entrepreneurial leader.

Outside of work, Jason and his wife Lauren enjoy outdoor activities, traveling and exploring diverse experiences. Jason also has great appreciation for motorsports in design, innovation, high performance and disciplined focus. He also collaborates with industry partners and startups, driving efforts to address systemic challenges and shape the future of the financial services industry.
