Ashley Williams is a managing director for SVB Private, a division of First Citizens Bank, where her focus is connecting Silicon Valley Bank’s startup banking clients to the resources at SVB Private. She has a passion for working with early-stage founders and helping to make it easier for them to spend time and energy on the foremost facets of their lives — personal and professional. Ashley believes that SVB Private can help founders make a difference in the world and provides education and facilitation of meaningful connections in the innovation ecosystem.

Ashley first joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2011 as a senior director, in Product, before moving to SVB Private as their chief of staff to the president. While at Silicon Valley Bank, she was recognized with the Operational Excellence award. Earlier in her career, she worked with Wells Fargo as a vice president, Wholesale Internet Services, where she earned the Golden Fin award. Ashley also served Blackstone Technology Group as a senior consultant, where she was honored with the Service Excellence award. She was also a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ashley holds bachelors’ degrees in management information science, summa cum laude, and studio art, graphic design, magna cum laude, from Florida State University.

Through her volunteer work with Beyond Kids Reading and Southern Scholarship Foundation, Ashley demonstrates her dedication to ensuring youth have access to the support they need to thrive from early education to college. She is also a champion of The Lunchmakers, a grassroots, child-led organization developed during the pandemic to feed those in need.

Outside of the office, Ashley spends her time keeping up with her two rambunctious children and exploring the beautiful natural wonders of the Bay Area. You can also find her enjoying art and music, traveling and reading.
