Marshall Hawks

Marshall has spent the past 11+ years at SVB in a variety of roles and countries, helping foster relationships with high growth technology companies. In his current role as Head of Credit Solutions for SVB Canada, he leads the team responsible for originating, structuring and managing all lending relationships with technology companies.

In previous roles Marshall led SVB’s Strategic Capital Group (SCG) in Northern California , as well as SVB’s Enterprise Software and Hardware verticals. Some of Marshall’s more notable portfolio companies across his decade at SVB include Airbnb, Twitch, FitBit, Okta, ServiceMax and Cloudflare.

Prior to joining SVB in 2009, Marshall spent time at Wells Fargo, Greater Bay Bank Venture Banking and Comerica Bank, all in roles focused on the VC & Tech ecosystem. Marshall holds a BA in Economics from Sonoma State University. Outside of work, Marshall is an avid skier, CrossFitter and podcast aficionado.
