Jake Mendel

Jake Mendel is a VP with Silicon Valley Bank's Startup Banking practice in New York City. Jake works hands-on with the east coast's fastest-growing startups – guiding founders through the process of starting & growing a business and finding ways to improve their likelihood of success with fundraising, hiring, scaling, and more. Prior to joining the Startup Banking team, Jake was an operator in early-stage companies across the biotech, retail, and enterprise software sectors, later joining SVB’s R&D division in San Francisco to lead customer discovery initiatives.
