Silicon Valley Bank Appoints Gerald Brady as Head of UK Relationship Banking

Silicon Valley Bank, the premier financial partner to innovative businesses of all sizes and their investors worldwide, announced that Gerald Brady has moved to its UK Branch as Head of UK Relationship Banking.  

Gerald has extensive experience in the technology and finance world with SVB in Silicon Valley, Siemens AG and 3i in London, Palo Alto and California, as well as PC Magazine, ZDNet and the launch of Yahoo! UK.  

Commenting on the appointment, Phil Cox, Head of EMEA and India and President of the UK Branch for Silicon Valley Bank said: "Gerald brings vast experience and important connections within the technology sector to our clients in the UK. With his leadership, our team will continue to increase the probability of our clients' success while growing our business at the same time."

Previously, Gerald was the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Bank's Entrepreneur Services and Corporate Venture Relationship Groups which are dedicated to supporting emerging technology and life science businesses and maintaining relationships with corporate venture and corporate development groups. Gerald is on the Board of the San Francisco chapter of the British American Business Council and is a member of the Advisory Board of the NVCA's Corporate Venture Capital Group.
