SVB Showcase is a pitch event for cleantech, technology and life science companies and venture capitalists.

The next SVB Showcase will be held on October 29, 2010 and will focus on early and growth-stage IT, cleantech and life science companies. Each company will have seven minutes to present to an audience of Bay Area venture capitalists.

Application Deadline
Presenting companies must submit their applications by Thursday, September 16, 2010. For more information on how to submit an application, click here.

What are the criteria for presenting companies? In order to apply to present, companies must be:
  • An existing SVB client
  • Early or growth stage
  • IT, cleantech or life science sector
How are presenting companies selected?
A selection committee will evaluate the applications and select the companies who will present.

Is there a fee for investors to attend the event?
No. However, investors who would like to attend must register ahead of time. This is an invitation-only event for investors. If you would like to receive an invite:

Approximately 100 venture capitalists attend SVB Showcase. The firms are primarily based in the Bay Area and include many well-known seed stage investors.

Have companies secured funding after presenting at the SVB Showcase?
Yes, we have had numerous companies participate in the past that were able to raise VC money.
