• CapMx® Summer 2011 Release: Staying the Course


    At SVB Analytics, our Summer 2011 focus for CapMx is on efficiency and flexibility. Effective June 24, 2011, CapMx includes enhancements to system communications, improved system navigation, and noteworthy maintenance items.

     

    Customizable Session Timeout Setting

    Putting You in Control

    CapMx users now have the ability to establish a preferred timeout setting. Located under the "Profile" tab on the CapMx Homepage, users can customize when CapMx will time out within a range between 10 minutes and 240 minutes.

    Internet Explorer 9

    Keeping Pace with Browser Changes

    IE 9 joins IE 6, IE 7, IE 8, Firefox 3.6, Chrome 4, and Safari 4 as supported browsers for accessing CapMx. The enhancements to browser support are available for both the Corporate Administration and Participant View sites.

    Document Repository

    Managing Documents Just Got Easier!

    Document Repository size has been increased on a per file/per company basis. CapMx users can also now delete multiple items at one time and upload MS 2007 documents.

    Maintenance

    Keeping CapMx Running Smoothly

    CapMx enables users to do their jobs with more ease, more efficiency, and with more pleasure than before. The Summer 2011 maintenance items highlight our focus and commitment to improving user satisfaction and increasing efficiency. Notable maintenance items include improved mailing labels, enhanced notes fields, and new and improved error messages.

     

    Mailing Labels

    Mailing labels have been upgraded to fix presentation format in the exported Word document such that the labels will now appear in First Name/Last Name order, which corrects the current order of Last Name, First Name.

    Notes Fields

    Notes field screens in CapMx are now modifiable at all times, even after the security has been exercised/ converted/cancelled, or the holder has terminated.

    New System Generated Alert!

    CapMx no longer permits the issuance of options (ISO and NSO) or SPRs to terminated individuals. A system generated alert will prompt users to create a second account record and will refer users to Online Help for more details.

    System error messages and alerts have been revised to be more accurate and easier to understand.
