Todd Lash is responsible for Silicon Valley Bank’s digital marketing and communications. Todd is a veteran technology entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience designing and delivering digital solutions in the fields of publishing, healthcare, banking, television, legal, ecommerce, and interactive marketing.
Most recently, Todd was founder and CEO of Simo Software, Inc., developer of SimoHealth medical expense management and personal health record (PHR) software acquired by Steve Case’s Revolution Health Group. Todd has held executive marketing and product management positions at RespondTV, Groundspring.org, GetActive Software, and social network Goodcompany.com.
As a co-founder and Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Alliances at RespondTV, Todd launched the first Internet based interactive TV commerce application on broadcast TV, established alliances with Microsoft, Liberate Technologies, and OpenTV, and won “The Killer App” Bandie Award at the 2001 Western Cable Show. At GNN, the first web portal, Todd was an early pioneer in the commercialization of the Internet developing the first web banner and ecommerce marketplace. After America Online's acquisition of GNN, Todd served as the first Director of Product Marketing for AOL’s Internet Division.
My current non-work obsession is training for my first full century ride this fall to benefit Best Buddies, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).Todd is an Advisory Board Member of the UCSF Department of Psychiatry (Young Adult and Family Center), and a founding board member of the East Bay School for Boys, and independent middle school, where we focus on the boys social and emotional experience by creating a space where boys have positive male role models and are taught how to, and encouraged to be, the great men of tomorrow: engaged, thoughtful, and courageous.
