Group Head - PES, Private Bank, Venture Relationships
Silicon Valley Bank
Region: United States
Scott Case leads several high-growth businesses at SVB: Global Private Equity Services (PES), Private Bank, Wealth Advisory and Venture Capital and Corporate Relationship practices. He is based out of Silicon Valley Bank’s Sand Hill Road office. The Global PES business is SVB’s largest business (by loans) and banks the majority of all Venture funds, plus many prominent Private Equity (PE) Firms with investment strategies broadly across many sectors. SVB’s Private Bank focuses exclusively on serving the personal financial needs of innovation company executives plus Venture and PE investors. Our Wealth Advisory business is a complement to our Private Bank and serves the unique needs of executives and investors -- often with a disproportionate amount of their net worth in illiquid assets. Finally, our Venture and Corporate Relationship Management team oversees strategic relationships across investors and their portfolio companies by leveraging the diverse financial services of the SVB Financial Group.
Before joining SVB in 2010, Case held operating roles with various Silicon Valley technology companies including CFO of Actiance, CFO of GO Networks, and CEO of Silicon Motion, among others. Prior to these roles, Case opened GE Equity’s west coast office in San Francisco where he ran the technology infrastructure investing group. He also worked at J.P. Morgan and McKinsey & Co.
Case holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Wake Forest University. He earned a Master’s of Business Administration from UNC at Chapel Hill.
