Scott Case leads the Global Private Equity Services (PES) group, as well as manages prominent Venture and PE firm relationships; he is based out of Silicon Valley Bank’s Sand Hill Road office. The Global PES business banks the majority of all Venture funds, plus many prominent Private Equity Firms with investment strategies in both the innovation space and broadly across many sectors. In the Relationship Management role, he oversees strategic relationships across investors and their portfolio companies by leveraging the diverse financial services of the SVB Financial Group. Scott used to head the Private Bank, and helped start the Wealth Advisory business, so works closely with the leadership of those businesses on new initiatives.
Before joining SVB in 2010, Case held operating roles with various Silicon Valley technology companies including CFO of Actiance, CFO of GO Networks, and CEO of Silicon Motion, among others. Prior to these roles, Case opened GE Equity’s west coast office in San Francisco where he ran the technology infrastructure investing group. He also worked at J.P. Morgan and McKinsey & Co.
Case holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Wake Forest University. He earned a Master’s of Business Administration from UNC at Chapel Hill.
