Lane Bruno
Lane Bruno is a director with Silicon Valley Bank’s venture capital (VC) relationship management team. Based in San Francisco, he manages the bank’s key relationships with VC firms, providing insights and advice to support the firms and their investments. Lane joined SVB in 2009 as a member of the corporate finance team. Most recently, he led a San Francisco Bay Area team for the strategic capital group that focused on mezzanine investments and developing new product strategies.
Lane spent several years in private equity, most notably as an analyst with Denargo Capital, a buyout firm pursuing control investments in oil and gas services, telecommunications and renewable fuels.
Lane holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and quantitative methods from the University of Northern Colorado. He is a director of the Siôn Mullane Foundation, an organization dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Siôn Mullane, a former SVB employee, through support and mentorship of young people in Wales. Lane is also an affiliate member of the CFA Society.
Outside of the office, Lane enjoys spending time with his wife and their son.
