Kristen Durham is the Global Gateway Director at Silicon Valley Bank, responsible for cross-border business development and client service in emerging international markets. Durham has held a variety of other marketing and analytical roles at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Trade Office in Guangzhou, U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory, California Public Utilities Commission, Food and Agriculture Policy Research Institute, and Association of Clean Water Administrators.

She holds an MS in Energy & Resources from the University of California-Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri, during which time she also pursued studies in environmental engineering at Wuhan University in Wuhan, China. She speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese, and remains active with the China-U.S. Energy Efficiency Alliance and the Asia Society of Northern California.
