Jonathan Bowen

Jonathan Bowen is an analyst with SVB Capital, responsible for identifying and evaluating venture capital fund investments as well as performing analysis on the industry and the SVB Capital portfolio.

Prior to joining SVB Capital in 2011, Jonathan worked with Intercept Ventures in San Francisco. Prior to Intercept Ventures, Jonathan worked with University Venture Fund in Salt Lake City, UT while attending the University of Utah. At University Venture Fund, he was responsible for evaluating investments in software, consumer internet and media. He led various investment teams during his 2.5 years with the fund.

Jonathan is an overly obsessive sports fan and musician who has been known to scream himself hoarse at sporting events or jump off of furniture when rocking-out. When outside of the office, if he is not at a sporting event or concert, he is likely out and about doing something fun with his wife. Jonathan is also fluent in Spanish.
