He and his SVB team thrive on meeting complex banking challenges head-on, providing flexible, custom-built strategies for each new step of every client’s journey.

Frank launched his career at SVB in 2011 after graduating cum laude from the University of California, Irvine (UCI)with a bachelor’s degree in business economics and political science. Over the years, he has helped scores of clients navigate their financial challenges - from medical device companies making their way through FDA approvals, to early-stage Series A technology companies looking for additional venture debt. During his tenure at SVB, Frank has been a valued advisor to Wavetec, Ring, PatientPop, Headspace and OpenX, among other clients.

Hailing from Minnesota, Frank is glad to have some family in the Southern California area; his brother now attends Frank’s alma mater, UCI. When he’s not at the office, Frank heads for the ocean or the mountains any chance he getsu - usually with a surfboard, sailboat or snowboard in tow. Back in LA, he hits the pavement for the Best Buddies program, which supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities — last year, Frank cycled in the Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle, and plans to do so again in 2017. He’s planning to take his stamina to the next level soon, as he trains for the Long Beach Half Marathon, which he’s planning to run in support of Best Buddies.
