Cindy Schatz

Cindy Schatz is a senior credit officer for SVB in Denver. In this role, she oversees and manages the bank’s portfolio in the technology sector, specifically in the areas of software, e-commerce, marketplace, and gaming. Though she’s based in Colorado, she works with teams across the United States and Canada.

Prior to taking on her current position, Cindy was the Head of Structured Products for the central United States. Cindy and her team focused on providing customers with creative working capital solutions. Earlier in her career, she also launched and oversaw SVB’s Private Equity Services team helping venture capital and private equity firms with their capital needs. Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she specialized in finance and entrepreneurship and competed on the women’s tennis team; she also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Outside of her work for SVB, Cindy serves as an Advanced Industries Selection Committee Member for the State of Colorado. She is also a board member for the University of Colorado’s Burridge Center, which supports programs and resources in investment and finance education. In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters while also trying to make it back onto the tennis court whenever she can.
