John Lee is a vice president in SVB's Entrepreneur Services Group. He establishes banking relationships with early stage technology companies. He also assists early and growth-stage technology companies with raising capital through review of investment materials and introductions to investors including angels, venture capital firms, and corporate venture funds. In addition, he provides market insights and connections to strategic partners including corporate development and IT groups.
John focuses on enterprise and infrastructure software sectors including cloud computing and SaaS, big data and analytics, security, mobile platforms and applications, and advertising technology, and hardware sectors including semiconductors, mobile computing and consumer electronic devices, and data center systems, storage, and networks.
Previously, John served as a relationship manager for SVB's Emerging Technologies Practice, providing commercial banking services to early stage technology, life sciences, and cleantech companies, angel groups, and venture capital firms.
Before joining SVB, John worked at Societe Generale, Union Bank of California, and Bank of America, focusing on technology, communications, and media companies.
While completing his undergraduate studies, John worked at Intel, conducting research and analysis of competitive semiconductor design and manufacturing technologies.
John holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
