For 20 years, Bruce has been financing high growth companies of all sizes, from early stage to multi-billion dollar corporations in the technology, life sciences, media, and telecommunications industries. Today, Bruce works exclusively with technology and life science companies and venture capital firms in the Pacific Northwest as the Northwest market manager overseeing SVB activities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Canada and SVB's offices in Seattle, WA and Beaverton, OR.
Bruce has been with Silicon Valley Bank since 1998 and previously worked in the media and telecommunications finance groups at both Bank of Hawaii and First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu.
Bruce earned a master's degree in Japanese business studies from Chaminade University in Honolulu and an undergraduate degree from Hawaii Loa College. Bruce has held past board seats at the Entrepreneurs Founddation of the Northwest, Technology Alliance, and the Software Association of Oregon.
