-- January 18, 2001 -- Geir Hansen, vice president and
relationship manager of Silicon Valley Bank's Seattle regional
office, will be a panelist at Maveron's CFO Forum on Thursday,
January 18, 2001, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Maveron
headquarters at 505 Union Station in Seattle, Washington.
Hansen will be speaking as part of a discussion
called "Current Accounting Environment, Mergers &
Acquisitions, Debt Financing." Other panelists include Andy
Read, Mike Reeves and Pete Shimer of Deloitte & Touche; and
Scott Gelband of Perkins Cole. The discussion will last for one
hour.
The forum is one of four that Maveron hosts
each year to increase the knowledge and synergies of its
portfolio companies. Silicon Valley Bank was chosen as a
participant in the event because of the Bank's relevance to
Maveron's companies and its understanding of their needs.
Hansen has been with Silicon Valley Bank since
1996 and has been in the commercial banking industry for the
past seven years. Prior to beginning his banking career, Hansen
spent five years as securities analyst. He will be available
for media interviews prior to and immediately following his
participation on the panel.
