Silicon Valley Bank appoints Gavin Hewitt as Chief Financial Officer for EMEA

Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), the bank of the world's most innovative companies and their investors, announced that  Gavin Hewitt  has joined SVB's UK Branch as its Chief Financial Officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Gavin has extensive commercial banking experience, having most recently served as the Head of Finance for HSBC's Commercial Bank in Europe following a number of senior finance roles at HSBC and Barclays. Gavin is a Certified Management Accountant.   

As a member of the senior UK leadership team, Gavin will lead the finance and treasury function of Silicon Valley Bank in the UK.
