- The Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA), a trade organization created for Illinois venture capital and private equity professionals, announces the second annual Venture Fund CFO Summit, to be held October 9 and 10, 2002 at the Drake Hotel, Chicago. Originally founded by platinum cosponsor Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), this year's program features speakers from over 11 different companies including John Taylor, VP of Research for the National Venture Capital Association; Brent Donnell, Senior Relationship Manager in Silicon Valley Bank's Chicago Office; John Volk of PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Seth J. Weinberger, Partner with Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw law firm.
The goal of the Venture Fund CFO Summit is to provide information and professional development opportunities for members, as well as create a network setting to help venture professionals develop relationships within the private equity sector.
